HR Manager
100% remote position

We have a unique opportunity for you. One of our clients in the construction industry asked us to find a passionate candidate in Mexico who’s comfortable working 100% remotely for a company outside of Mexico as an HR Manager. He or she needs to be fluent both in Spanish and English, and will be in charge of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Will bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues. Also will be managing the recruitment and selection process.

The person will be responsible of performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action, and learning and development. Consult with top executives on strategic planning; and serve as a link between an organization’s management and its employees.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process

  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital

  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization

  • Nurture a positive working environment

  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program

  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs

  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics

  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

  • Develop learning and development programs

  • Serve as a consultant with other managers advising them on human resources issues, such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment

  • Oversee an organization’s recruitment, interview, selection, and hiring processes

  • Handle staffing issues, such as mediating disputes and directing disciplinary procedures

  • Lead continued development of organisational culture.

  • Support and advise the Executive Team on organisational change management, providing advice and support.

  • Contribute to the development of a robust culture through role modeling values, and the behaviours which drive this culture.

  • Design and lead initiatives to maximise employee’s engagement to the desired culture

  • Act as an ambassador for the companie´s culture and drive initiatives to keep reinforcing it.

 

Requirements

  • BA in  Psychology , Business, Communications, or similar with minimum 3 years of experience as an HR Manager or other HR senior role.

  • People oriented and results driven

  • Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.

  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics

  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases

  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices

  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.

  • Bilingual (Spanish & English)

 

It will be a Plus

  • In-depth knowledge of USA labor law 

  • Experience in educating and coaching staff.

  • Experience in a construction company or building materials as HR
